Dibyalochan Choudhury

As the COO (India Operations) and Technical director Dibyalochan is responsible for the output of Giant Wheel Animation’s India operations. His focus is to establish the technical needs required to achieve and maintain a high quality output. His expertise ranges from organic modelling, texturing, environment development, and lighting, to fur designing.

Recently he has been credited as the head of Fur development in the latest Lionsgate film called ‘Alpha Omega’. He started his career in 2000 at Pentamedia Graphics Ltd, Chennai as a Modeller and Texture artist where he worked on various projects such as Son of Aladdin, Hungarian Granprix, and Whistle to name a few. He relocated to Mumbai to work at Crest Animation Studios Ltd where he worked on animated series like ‘Pet Aliens’, ‘Bratz’, ‘Casper Scare School’, ‘Barnyard’ to name a few. While at Crest he started off as a character animator and went to become the Episode in charge for ‘Bratz’ to the Technical Supervisor for the ‘Barnyard’ series.
